Jams Web Design – Our Vancouver Web Design company is sharing new stories and experiences that talk about a place that we call Vancouver, BC our home. Our stories of Vancouver range from things to do, our climate and the city lifestyle. With one of the largest cities and best cities to visit in North America, our Canadian city has so much to offer and everyone should visit it at least once. With that said, below are some of the top things to do in Vancouver, BC.
1. Stanley Park– This is a massive park that is home to almost 1000-acres, and some of the most well-known attractions in the city can be found there. You can easily spend an entire day here and still not see everything. Here’s a tip, you should cycle or walk along the Seawall, but be prepared to spend a lot of time there because it’s 14-miles long. If you don’t own a bike, then don’t worry because you can rent one from one of the many companies near Stanley Park.
You can take a horse-carriage ride or a trolley ride. There are also guided tours you can take. It doesn’t matter what your cup of tea is, you will love Stanley Park.
2. Spanish Banks Beach– If you’re a beach lover, then you’ll want to head to Spanish Banks Beach, which you will be able to spend hours or half a day. There are numerous water activities you can take part in while there, and this includes skim-boarding, or you can just lay around in the sun or take a dip. If you think the water is too cold, then play a game of volleyball at one of the many courts located there.
You can drive to Spanish Banks Beach and you won’t have to pay to access it. You won’t have to pay for parking, either. There’s also buses that can take you to the area if you do not have a vehicle or don’t want to drive.
3. Vancouver Lookout– Many people recommend heading to Vancouver Lookout before going anywhere else because of the scenery you’re treated to from the observation deck. Once you reach the deck, you will enjoy amazing views of the city. Not only that, but you’ll be treated to the mountains nearby, as well as Stanley Park.
The Vancouver Lookout point sits on the Harbour Centre building in the city center, and you will have to go to the 55th floor to reach the observation deck. Don’t worry about taking the stairs because you will use the glass elevator to get to the 55th floor. It only takes 40 seconds to get to the top. The Vancouver Lookout is open to guests on a daily basis, but their hours may differ in the summer and winter and you will have to pay an admission to get to the observation deck, but the price is worth paying.
There is no city quite like Vancouver, and this is why you should go there. Just make sure you do some or all of the above things. Also, those are only a few of the stuff you can do while in the city. Book your hotel in the Vancouver area today and experience all it has to offer.
